In case you were wondering about Russ’ prize and who Forest Ackerman was, here is a brief explanation. Forest started a movie magazine in the late 50s/early 60’s called Famous Monsters. He used to be a huge sci-fi and monster fan, and the movies, once finished, would pass on their many props to Forest to keep. So in the 80s he had a big house in the Hollywood Hills, and once a month he would open it to the public to come see his collection.
